ANOTHER ROUND OF WINTER

People in the rest of Canada should not feel too badly for Nanaimo residents as they battle double digit temperatures and white blankets in their gardens!
In order to handle the extreme temperatures residents had to remove their coats and gloves yesterday and in a serious attempt to stay warm were required to actually work in their gardens.
Places like Winnipeg and Toronto should be thankful that freezing temperatures and snow falls have spared them from the fate of many Nanaimo residents who found they needed to change their sweat-drenched shirts after many hours of hard labour in the garden.
Tell me again, why Nanaimo is the best place in Canada to live.
