According to one source the following are the ten most popular New Years resolutions. We can all probably identify with several of these goals, and perhaps even all of these goals.

  1. Spend More Time With Family & Friends.
  2. Get Fit and Start Regular Exercise Program.
  3. Lose Weight, Get Rid of the Bulge.
  4. Quit Smoking.
  5. Enjoy Life More.
  6. Quit Drinking.
  7. Get Out of Debt.
  8. Learn Something New.
  9. Help Others.
  10. Get Organized.
The New Year has always been a time to reflect on our personal condition and identify those things we would like to see changed. The New Year is like starting all over again with a clean slate, a time to put our past behind us and look forward with hope and optimism to what a brand New Year has in store.

As an after thought, I would add to my own list, the discipline to actually try and attain my goals for more than the first week of January. :^)
