Nanaimo House Sales
Up 45% Over June 2008

The latest statistics released by the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board shows that houses are selling at a faster rate this year over last.

In the month of June 09 there were a total of 161 units sold which is a 45% increase over the 111 units which sold in June 08.

Prices however, are 9% lower this year over last with the average in June 09 being $336,920 which is a decline of 9% over the average of $373,100 in June 08.
