Strange Colour Fills Morning Sky

Nanaimo residents were treated to a rare site this morning as an unusual source of light pierced the sky. Calls to Environment Canada confirmed that it was indeed the sun.

Nanaimo residents have not seen such an occurrence for many weeks now, as sunrise usually consists of the sky going from a dark shade of grey to a lighter shade of grey, usually followed by rain.
