The Nanaimo Arts Council – Creative Currents event for the month of April features Keiko Bottomley, offering an introduction to Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging).

You will learn how to create a table centerpiece using dishes and /or containers you have at home, garden flowers, twigs and branches, and yes, even what many people consider weeds.

Join Keiko on Saturday April 10 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Harbourfront library. The event is free of charge to the public and you can obtain more information by calling 250-729-3947.
