Yes, The Sun Does Shine

In case the current 'days of drizzle' have you wondering if the sun ever does shine on the coast in the fall / winter months. I remember when I first moved here in 1970 that one of the locals told me of the time honored west coast expression to describe the winter months:

"if you can see the very tops of the mountains, it is going to rain, and if you can't, it is already raining".

This collection titled "Westcost Wonderland" by local photo artist Sheryl Falls is a happy reminder that the coast, while it does have it's grey charm, is absolutely spectacular when the sun comes out and dances off the snow capped mountains!
