Nanaimo Gas Prices 21 Cents Higher Than Duncan

Nanaimo Station Prices

For the moment Nanaimo drivers seem to have the ability to save 7 cents/litre if you shop around for gas. I suspect this is merely an anomaly which the local cartel will get sorted out soon enough and once again they will all be pumping for the same prices!

Clearly there is limited competition in the Nanaimo gas station business as for the most part all stations march in lockstep continuing to make Nanaimo a costly place to fill your tank.

Dealers Should Buy Their Fuel In Duncan

Local gas station owners are often explaining they make mere pennies on a litre of gasoline and they are just barely hanging in there and have no choice but to charge these outrageously high prices.

Here's an idea ...... buy your gas from Duncan and you automatically have a 21 cent per litre margin to play with!

Note: the above prices were taken from gasbuddy.com at 8:30 am Feb.2, 2013.

  1. The Shell in Ladysmith was 108.9 on Jan 01. No need to drive all the way to Duncan.
